Basket timeout

Because Kaleidoscope Creations ("we", "us", "our") jewellery is hand-made and in small quantities, the web site has a built-in basket timeout function. Items in baskets will remain there until either you remove them or complete the purchase and in addition, until 30 minutes after you stop using the site. For the same reason, if you have not completed payment within 30 minutes of clicking the Complete purchase button, we cannot guarantee the items you have purchased will still be available. Should this occur, we will endeavour to make another piece the same or as close as possible to the one you have chosen. Alternatively a refund may be provided.

Items on sale elsewhere

We make every effort to ensure the items you are ordering from the Site are available at the time of purchase. However we reserve the right to sell items by means other than the Site, for example at advertised craft fairs and markets. In the event of an item you have ordered online being sold by another means around the same time as your purchase, we will endeavour to make another piece the same or as close as possible to the one you have chosen. Alternatively a refund may be provided.

Postage and packaging

While purchasing goods on this site, it is the purchaser's repsponsibility to select the correct shipping region on the Basket page before processing payment (i.e. before clicking the Complete purchase button). We reserve the right to refuse to ship items if required payment has not been received.

Unless otherwise stated or requested, delivery within the UK is via Royal Mail 1st Class postage; outside the UK, Royal Mail's International Signed For service will be used.

Returns policy

We realise sometimes that when purchasing items over the internet, there are any number of reasons why you may find it not exactly as you expected, or the item doesn't match your outfit in the way you anticipated.

For this reason, we offer a full refund for bracelets and necklaces, provided the item is returned within seven days of receipt. Postage from you to us is the responsibility of the purchaser.

For earrings, there will be a deduction of £1.50. This is for health and safety reasons as the finding cannot be re-used after the buyer has tried the items on. Please be aware that we cannot take your word for it that you have not tried the item on.

If in the unlikely event your item is faulty, the reimbursement will be in full.

Please be aware when ordering multiple items - say three or four identical necklaces for your bridesmaids - that the returns policy applies to single items or single sets of beads only. If you anticipate the item may not be exactly what you want, it would be best for you to order a single item first to ensure you can take advantage of this returns policy. As a small business, we are unable to take multiples of a single item back into stock.

This policy is over and above our legal obligations towards purchasers and your statutory rights are unaffected by this policy.
